As an addition to the Ten Maxims of Sahaj Marg, our Master has often speaks of an eleventh maxim: Expect not for thou shalt not be disappointed. In a talk given on 20th April 2009, in Bangalore, India, he explains that once expectations have been set, we cannot go beyond them. When we go to see the Master, we should not tie his hands with our expectations, thereby limiting what he can give us; rather, we must be prepared to drown in his presence and receive all that he has to give.
