Himalayan Ashram Satkhol - Heaven on Earth

Essence

Himalayan Ashram Satkhol holds a field of silence.

In Whispers from the Brighter World, Babuji described this Ashram as a place of great radiance, impregnable and well chosen, appreciated by higher beings who would seek peace therein. He regarded it as a great success and revealed, “We have in that a very special antenna.”

Consecrated by Chariji with Babuji’s blessings, Himalayan Ashram Satkhol remains a centre of Heartfulness, practicing the Sahaj Marg system of Shri Ram Chandra Mission. Daaji describes Satkhol as special for its penetrating silence. This silence works quietly and deeply, shaping seekers not through effort or instruction but by attunement to this living field.

Those who come are drawn by longing, prepared inwardly to sit in stillness and allow the grace of the place to act. In such ease, the day becomes transparent; meditation and the simplest actions begin to carry the same depth.

Here the values are lived quietly: Silence and Simplicity in daily rhythm, Presence through inward remembrance, and a careful tending of the land in harmony with nature. Stone paths, terraced hillsides, orchards, and seasonal flowers frame an outer serenity that reflects the stillness within. On clear mornings, distant Himalayan peaks stand as silent companions.

Set in the Himalayan foothills of Nainital District, Uttarakhand, at about 1,900 m (5,700 ft).
