This book is a record of the experiences and times sister Shashi Dhawan spent with her beloved Babuji Maharaj, from her early teens until his passing in April 1983. She describes her first meeting with Babuji Maharaj on the auspicious day of Holi in March 1964 – that first moment when he gazed at her with his piercing eyes and she experienced the Divinity in him. She then describes the daily routine of visiting Babuji, sitting with him as a scribe to take dictation and notes. She shares so many stories of his unconditional love and practical wisdom, in both the spiritual and material realms. There are anecdotes about saints, gods, morality and ethics, natural laws, and how human life can be conducted to reach the highest purpose of human life. Sister Shashi Dhawan continues to be a witness to the growth of the Heartfulness movement from its humble beginnings in northern India to its presence today in schools, universities, corporations, government institutions, and with people from all walks of life and cultures around the world.

This small book by Pujya Babuji Maharaj is a testament to his original research and unsurpassed methodology in the spiritual field. During the 1940s and 1950s, Pujya Babuji recorded many of his spiritual discoveries and inventions in his diaries, and they were verified by Pujya Lalaji Maharaj through intercommunication from The Brighter World. Later, in the 1960s, those associates of Babuji who organized the publication of his books helped him compile a selection of those methods for the trainers in the Sahaj Marg system. The result was two small volumes, the first published in 1960 and the second in 1967, and the source material was Pujya Babuji's original dictations and writings, especially his diaries. Those two volumes were the first guidebooks for the prefects and preceptors of the Shri Ram Chandra Mission, to be used for the training and spiritual growth of the abhyasis of Sahaj Marg. Now, for the first time since the 1960s, Pujya Babuji's precious volumes have been republished here as one book. Foreword by Daaji.

Whispers from The Brighter World, 1944 is a spiritual treasure of great wisdom from beyond this world. It is a historic record of the intercommunications Babuji Maharaj had with his Guru, Lalaji Maharaj, and other great spiritual Elders, which he faithfully recorded in his diaries. This first volume in the series documents the conversations from May to October 1944. Babuji had not yet been announced as Lalaji’s representative, and the Shri Ram Chandra Mission had not been formalized; both were in the process of becoming, and it was a period of great consequence and change. These profound conversations are a window into the ideal relationship of Guru and disciple that we witness in Lalaji and Babuji. These include talks given at places spread through India's heartland Madhya Pradesh, as well as a few in Chhattisgarh as also a special interview given for Radio Madhuban. Overflowing with love, inspiration and the essence of Heartfulness, they bring a depth of understanding of a life guided by the wisdom of the heart.
