The Hyderabad (called Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Airport Code HYD) is the closest to the venue. SRCM volunteers will be present at the airport to guide you from 27th Apr 2016 till 30th Apr (9 am) 2016. Rail

Abhyasis outside India may kindly note that train tickets within India can be booked online at https://www.irctc.co.in. Payment can be made online as well, with international credit cards.

Volunteers will be present at the Vikarabad, Shadnagar, Secunderabad, and Kachiguda railway stations from Wednesday, 27th Apr 2016 till 30th Apr (8am) 2016.

1. Secunderabad: We have arranged buses from Secunderabad railway station [adjacent to Platform No. 10]. Please follow the instructions of the volunteers to get into the buses. The venue is around 50 kms from the railway station.
2. Vikarabad: Trains sourcing from Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and the other western regions will pass through Tandur, Wadi, and Vikarabad to reach Secunderabad and Hyderabad stations. We have requested Railway authorities to stop the trains ([list provided below) at Vikarabad station. The railway authorities have approved our request. These trains will stop for 5 minutes, which is more than the scheduled time of 1 to 2 minutes. Please get down at Vikarabad station. Volunteers will be around the station to guide you. Buses are arranged from Vikarabad station to the venue. The distance is around 56 kms from the Railway station.

3. Shadnagar: Trains plying to Kacheguda will pass through Kurnool, Jadcherla, Mahabubnagar and ShadNagar. We have requested Railway authorities to stop the trains ([list provided below) and got the approval. These trains will stop for 5 minutes, which is more than the scheduled time of 1 to 2 minutes. Please get down at ShadNagar station. Volunteers will be around the station to guide you. Buses are arranged from Shadnagar station to the venue. The distance is around 20 kms from Railway station.

4. Kacheguda: All the trains reaching Kachiguda pass through ShadNagar) and we expect your cooperation to follow the instructions above and get down at the respective stations. In case of exceptions, and the abhyasis reaching or Kachiguda need not worry, volunteers will be there around to guide you.
5. Note: There are no services from Nampally (Hyderabad) stations:

All the trains reaching Hyderabad pass through either Vikarabad or Secunderabad and we expect your cooperation to get down at the respective stations. In case of exceptions, abhyasis travelling via Vikarabad can get down at Begumpet station and take a local train (MMTS) to Secunderabad. Traveling time is 10 minutes. Volunteers will be there in Secunderabad to help you (see section 1 above).

Road

Kurnool/Bangalore-Hyderabad Highway Route: For all the Abhyasis travelling by buses via Bangalore, Kurnool, and Anantapur region, the pick-up point is planned at Ashiana Dhaba near Shadnagar toll plaza or Shadnagar Railway station (Ashiana Dhaba is 8 kms from ShadNagar toll plaza). Please look for our volunteers. We have arranged shuttle service from Asiana Dhaba to the venue. Please notify the bus driver/attendant that you need to be dropped at Asiana Dhaba. This is a familiar location and the majority of the long distance buses stop here for coffee break. In case you are unable to get down at Asiana Dhaba, please get down at Shamshabad bus stand. We have shuttle buses going through this junction please check for Kanha Ashram Poster on Bus the distance is around 25 kms.

Other Routes: Abhyasis travelling from other routes are requested to go to Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS). Please board any public bus from MGBS to Shadnagar/Jadcherla, and get down at Shamshabad bus stand; we have arranged shuttle services from Shamshabad bus stand to the venue.

Private Transport: The multiple routes leading to the venue are pretty narrow and not completely tarred. We have made our best efforts to bring them into shape and have also planned optimally to leverage these multiple routes. As we all know, we are always graced with rain during the celebrations. These rains are expected to be severe and to affect the condition of the roads. The venue is also surrounded by several villages. A large number of ins and outs might dust the houses near the road and cause inconvenience to the villagers. Hence, we request all nearby centers to carpool or bus pool as much as possible. We expect your sincere cooperation. This will help us tremendously.

Return Journey

Buses will be available to all the stations starting from Apr 30th late evening to May 2nd afternoon (12 Noon). Abhyasis who are leaving later than May 2nd 12 Noon are requested to book their taxi in advance at the transportation counter.

Abhyasis Travelling to Sec-bad, Hyderabad and Kachiguda should report at boarding point 6 hours before the schedule departure of the train.

Abhyasis Travelling to Vikarabad and shadnagar should at boarding point 4 hours before the schedule departure of the train.

Note: The weather at Kanha ashram is extremely hot. Please carry Umbrella and Water bottles. Try to avoid direct exposure to sunlight between 10 am and 4 pm
