Volunteers

At present, a lot of outsourced manpower and heavy earth-moving machines are working on the field day and night to steadfast the readiness of Kanha. The venue cannot accommodate more than 50 volunteers. We expect Kanha to be equipped and ready with accommodation and other facilities by January 25th of 2016.

We require a significant number of volunteers to be present at the venue from 26th January onwards, and some volunteers will also be required to stay for about ten days after the celebrations for winding up operations. Volunteers who are ready to help with the same are requested to plan accordingly. Upon arriving at the venue, interested volunteers may report to the volunteer desk or the ashram office.

Volunteers from previous celebrations are encouraged to offer their services and also encourage others to participate in volunteer work.

Centres are requested to encourage all participants to help with the voluntary work. Please send separate lists for male and female participants, including each volunteer’s name, center, area of volunteer work, and approximate dates of arrival and departure, to celebrations@srcm.org. This will enable the organisers to plan accordingly.

Transportation from the railway station for volunteers

Kindly note that there will be no bus or van facility available before 9th February 2016 (Tuesday); however, volunteers will be guided to reach the venue.
