Global Spirituality Mahotsav 2024

2024.13 - Thursday, 29 February 2024

Respected elders, dear sisters and brothers,

Many of you may be aware of the upcoming Global Spirituality Mahotsav 2024, organised by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. This unique conference will be hosted at Kanha Shanti Vanam, World Headquarters of Heartfulness from March 14 to 17.

You may also remember that Swami Vivekananda's historic 1893 address at the World Parliament of Religions advocated for religious tolerance and an end to fanaticism. This conference at Kanha Shanti Vanam represents the next pivotal moment in integrating all spiritual paths, and will bring together diverse faith traditions, yoga, meditation, and holistic wellness, guided by the principles of peace and heart-centred living.

Swami Vivekananda implored all faiths to unite to foster global harmony and collaboration for true peace, which is a state beyond the mere absence of violence, encompassing compassion, gratitude, and joy. This conference at Kanha Shanti Vanam is an important step in that direction. I am reminded of the following message by Pujya Babuji Maharaj:

Wednesday, May 20, 2015 – 10 a.m.

India has always been a beacon of spirituality; that is how it is, one might say. In the future, this country will become the center of an unprecedented action of this kind. A land of refuge it will be, after many upheavals. An important action will unfold there, promoting an expansion of consciousness that has long been planned and wanted. The high places of Sahaj Marg will have major importance and play an unprecedented role in our history. The current Master will be inspired accordingly, and everything will take its place naturally.

IMy invitation to all of you along with your families and friends is to join this grand movement to unify the spiritual legacy of humanity.

ITogether, let us shape the spiritual legacy of humanity through this grand unification. I conclude with another poignant message from Pujya Babuji Maharaj.

Wednesday, October 5, 2011 – 10 a.m.

Was it not said about the new symbol that, in the future, our way will be at the heart of a great unifying movement for the good of all humanity? The saying goes that unity is strength. The forces of good will have to unite beyond any kind of prejudice and see only the best for everyone in the face of a critical situation that cannot be handled on the human level. The divine power will see to it; that is the way it goes.

With prayers,
Kamlesh
