An ashram is also a kind of refuge, a place of retreat from today’s life. Ashrams in Sahaj Marg are dedicated to meditation only, all other activities are normally not allowed in the Ashram. An Ashram is usually charged by the Master, who creates a special atmosphere of spirituality conducive to meditation.
